ChristianaCare’s Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Fellowship is an ACGME accredited one-year training program in advanced heart failure, cardiac transplantation and mechanical circulatory support. The Heart Failure Program at ChristianaCare has partnered with the Heart Failure and Transplant Program at the University of Pennsylvania to create a joint program to train fellows in all aspects of heart failure.
ChristianaCare is one of the top 10 largest volume heart failure hospital systems in the United States, and the University of Pennsylvania is one of largest volume heart transplant and mechanical circulatory support centers in the country. Fellows will rotate between the two programs to ensure a comprehensive experience during the one-year fellowship.
