Community Health Outreach and Education Program

Helping you learn your risks from cancer.

Cancer Prevention and Early Detection

Are you at risk for cancer? Have you had your recommended cancer screenings?

Is there more you can do to lower your risk?

ChristianaCare’s Helen F. Graham Cancer Center & Research Institute’s Community Health Outreach and Education Program can help you answer these questions and more about cancer prevention and early detection.

    • Learn what causes cancer.
    • Understand your own risk for cancer.
    • Make healthy lifestyle choices to lower your risk — or even prevent cancer.
    • Schedule the screenings and care you need.*
    • Find low-cost or free screenings.; *Age, income, Delaware residency and insurance guidelines apply.

The best way to beat cancer is to prevent it, or find and treat it early. ChristianaCare offers a variety of community-based educational programs to help you learn your risk for breast, cervical, colorectal, lung, prostate and skin cancer. We can also help you learn ways to prevent cancer and know what symptoms to watch for. We can also help you find early detection cancer screenings convenient to where you live, work or worship.
