Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Fellowship

Christiana Care Health System Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Fellowship opening for July 2015.

This is an ACGME accredited one-year training program in advanced heart failure, cardiac transplantation and mechanical circulatory support. The Heart Failure Program at Christiana Care Health System has partnered with the Heart Failure and Transplant Program at the University of Pennsylvania to create a joint program to train fellows in all aspects of heart failure.

Christiana Care Health System is one of the top 10 largest volume heart failure hospital systems in the United States, and the University of Pennsylvania is one of largest volume heart transplant and mechanical circulatory support centers in the country. Fellows will rotate between the two programs to ensure a comprehensive experience during the one-year fellowship.

Applicants should have finished a 3-year, ACGME-accredited general cardiology fellowship before the start date and be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease.

We request that you also submit a CV along with a USMLE score sheet, personal statement, ECFMG certificate (if applicable), and three letters of recommendation (one of the letters should be written by your cardiology fellowship program director) to:
