CareRef is the first cloud based application created by ChristianaCare Health System to serve as a central resource for accessing the latest evidence-based guidelines and pathway of care for clinicians providing direct care to patients.

CareRef will allow for effective communication of clinical pathway guidelines to ChristianaCare clinical staff in the most efficient and secure way and will serve as the single source of truth for physicians with governance over how the content is managed and updated over time.

The application is available on both your desktop computer and iOS device.

How can I access CareRef?

Anyone with an 801# can access CareRef by logging in with either their institutional id (801#) or ChristianaCare e-mail and password.

CareRef can be accessed onsite or remotely:

  • The desktop version can be accessed through this link. You will be required to use multifactor authentication. Set up will take 10 minutes or less. If you need assistance with multifactor authentication, please contact the Customer Service Center.
  • CareRef can also be found in the iTunes App Store. From your iPhone (iOS 7.2 or above), search the App Store with the keyword “CareRef”.
