ChristianaCare Multifactor Authentication

An extra level of security.

Add an Extra Level of Security to Your ChristianaCare Account

Verifying your identity using a second factor (like your phone or other mobile device) prevents anyone but you from logging in, even if they know your password.

We strongly recommend installing the “VIP Access” app on your phone or tablet.

After Feb. 6, 2017, you will need your VIP Access-enrolled device to log in remotely with your employee ID and password.

    How Does It Work?

With MultiFactor authentication, you will protect your ChristianaCare account with something you KNOW (your password) and something you HAVE (your VIP Access-enrolled device).

Once you have enrolled in ChristianaCare MultiFactor Authentication, you will log in as usual with your employee ID and password and, starting February 6th, you will verify your identity by accepting a notification from the mobile app or entering a Security Code.

We strongly recommend the mobile app as the most user-friendly option. However, other options are available. Please review our install options and enrollment instructions to help you make the best choice.

    Why Do I Need This?

MultiFactor authentication adds a second layer of security, keeping your ChristianaCare account secure even if your password is compromised. Once you have enrolled, you will be alerted right away (on your VIP Access-enrolled device) if someone is trying to log in as you.
