WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW?
I-Search look-up tool will be available by Monday, August 3, 2015
- I-Search is used to look up a diagnosis or procedure by code, text, or abbreviation.
- Results are presented to aid the user in determining the most appropriate code for ICD-10.
- Employees who were submitted by their department for access will receive an e-mail with login information. Additional user requests should be made via the SAM (System Access Management) request.
- A web-based training module is available for review on the ICD-10 webpage under the training tab http://inet/externalaffairs/ICD10/training.html
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?
- Look for your initial email and confirm that you can log in.
- Begin to familiarize yourself with the functionality of the tool.
- Review the self-paced, web-based education module.
- Print out the job aid for future reference.
