Developing Effective Clinical Teams - TeamSTEPPS®

This evidence based program is an introduction to TeamSTEPPS® strategies and tools to enhance team effectiveness and build high performing teams. The program is designed to improve communication and teamwork skills under the framework of Patient Centered Care.

Nurses, physicians, pharmacists, allied health professionals, quality and safety professionals, and other interested learners.		Online, didactic, interactive audience discussion, simulation, small group application practice sessions
Requirements		Pre-Requisites
Demonstration of team effectiveness skills in simulated environment or video recording playback debriefing.		Completion of IHI Open School Modules: recommended. Pre-readings as assigned. Faculty member may perform on-site team observation prior to session. One or two sessions may be recommended.

Certificate of Completion.		1-1.5 hours.
