Ashley Panichelli, M.D.

Dr Panichelli received her medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2015. In 2018, she graduated from the ChristianaCare Family Medicine Residency Program. Upon graduation she accepted a position at the ChristianaCare Family Medicine Residency Program as a faculty member. Dr Panichelli was recently appointed as Clinical Instructor of Family and Community Medicine at Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Dr Panichelli is passionate about teaching, mentoring, and program development. Dr Panichelli’s specific interests include inpatient medicine and safe transitions of care, residency quality and safety, Just Culture, women’s health, and resident simulation curriculums.

Throughout her medical career, Dr Panichelli has been involved in several leadership development opportunities. Dr Panichelli served as Chief Resident. Additionally, she was involved in the American Academy of Family Physician’s national Emerging Leadership program. Dr Panichelli is certified in Just Culture Training. She plans to stay active in her local chapter of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
