ChristianaCare’s Rocco A. Abessinio Family Wilmington Health Center is home to three primary care practices among other programs and services. Offering wellness and preventive health visits for people of all ages, and medical care for treating illness and injury, the team of clinical and support personnel provide the high-quality health care that every patient within our community deserves, regardless of income or ability to pay. Care teams include nurses, physician residents, attending physicians, and nurse practitioners.

Primary Care services are supported and enhanced by the on-site pharmacy, diagnostic testing, social services and patient wellness and educational programs.

Monday through Friday - 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Internal medicine has extended hours until 7 p.m. on Wednesday.

For urgent needs, Saturday hours are offered weekly in cooperation with other ChristianaCare Primary Care locations from 8 a.m. to noon. Please inquire when calling for an appointment.

For your convenience routine phone calls are handled from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon.

Our providers often communicate with our patients online using the ChristianaCare patient portal. It’s also a quick and easy way to request refills, view test results, and appointments, and ask questions.
