The Just Culture™ Leadership Session introduces learners to key concepts of the Just Culture™ and its application to healthcare environment; how Human Error, At-Risk Behavior, and Reckless Behavior differ, and the appropriate management response to each: the contribution of system design to the risk for harm; how and when to use Just Culture™ algorithm in the event follow-up process, and how to conduct a simple event investigation

Senior executives, physician leaders, medical directors, nurse executives and managers, clinical and non-clinical department managers and leaders, pharmacy leaders and other departmental managers and leaders, and individuals actively involved in event management and/or peer review.		Facilitated and interactive class discussions, small group activities and application of key concepts and tools.

Quiz after lesson.		Optional: Pre-readings assigned by course faculty, approximately 1-2 hours.
