Safety Is Our Priority – Learn more

At ChristianaCare, everything we do is For the Love of Health™, and that focus has guided our response throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. We have redesigned how we deliver care to keep our patients and caregivers safe, while providing the high-quality care that our community needs and deserves. This includes greatly expanded options for virtual care and telehealth visits, as well as guidelines that support social distancing, wearing masks, a clean environment and limited numbers of patients and visitors to ensure safety. Sports Medicine at ChristianaCare

Not Just for Athletes

When most people hear the term sports medicine, they think of athletes and sports teams. The truth is sports medicine is not just for athletes playing team sports; it’s also for anyone who enjoys an active lifestyle or wants to be more active. ChristianaCare Sports Medicine physicians are here to help you pursue your goals for athletics and physical activity. They can help you maximize your performance, prevent or recover from injuries, and overcome physical challenges you may face at home or at work, such as knee, shoulder or foot pain. No matter what your activity – walking, bicycling, football, tennis, golf, lifting on the job, or running after your kids – we are ready to be your partner in maintaining good health and fitness, and preventing injuries.

Why Sports Medicine?

We are specialists who work with people of all ages to prevent and treat injuries and illness that can result from athletics, exercise or simply living an active, healthy lifestyle. If you have a musculoskeletal issue related to a sport you participate in, a physical job, or just everyday life, you can count on us for expert care.
