The CyberKnife Robotic Radiosurgery System is a noninvasive alternative to surgery for the treatment of tumors anywhere in the body—with fewer side effects. Cyberknife treatment delivers very high doses of radiation to tumors with accuracy. There is no anesthesia, no pain and minimal recovery time. It’s like having an X-ray; you don’t feel anything. In fact, in most cases, patients can return to normal activity the next day.

ChristianaCare’s Helen F. Graham Cancer Center & Research Institute offers cancer patients undergoing radiation therapy the safest and most advanced technology available. During treatment, the CyberKnife correlates live radiographic images with pre-operative CT or MRI scans to determine patient and tumor position.
You will have consultation appointments with both the surgeon and the radiation oncologist.
