Multidisciplinary Care

Offering you convenience and ease with the specialists you need.

A team of Experts Dedicated to Your Care

ChristianaCare neurosciences offers a Multidisciplinary Center (MDC) to provide care for Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson's Disease patients with complex needs. Our team of providers will see you on the same day at one of our convenient office locations in Newark or Middletown.

What is a Multidisciplinary Center?

The MDC model of care is designed to offer you convenience and ease with accessing the specialists you need at a monthly visit, all under one roof. The team works together to care for you and manage your treatment. The MDC team also works with and consults with your primary care doctor regarding your treatment. Prior evaluation by one of our physicians is needed to start care with the MDC.

How does it work for me?

Our multidisciplinary approach will ease the stress and burdens of scheduling multiple specialist appointments. Combining visits is timesaving and easy. Your dedicated MDC team will work with you to help coordinate care across multiple specialties, making it possible for you to see all your providers in one visit. We take into consideration your medical and non-medical needs. The MDC team includes highly trained physicians and caregivers, including nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists (Parkinson's Disease patients), social workers and care management coordinators. To learn more about our MDC and our neurosciences program, please contact us at 302-623-3017.
