ENT/Sinus Surgery Center

With industry-leading technology and highly-trained surgeons and nurses, ChristianaCare’s ENT/Sinus Surgery Center provides state-of-the-art care and treatment for even the most severe sinus problems.

Treating chronic or recurrent sinus problems often requires the special knowledge and training of an ENT (ear, nose and throat) doctor. Usually, a sinus infection can be treated with antibiotics to kill the bacteria. Oral and nasal decongestants or sprays can unclog stuffy noses. But sometimes surgery may be necessary to improve sinus drainage or to correct an anatomical defect that may be causing the problem.

The ENT/Sinus Surgery Center was designed for patients with acute sinus infections or structural problems that require surgical intervention. However, the doctors who participate in this center have the experience and expertise to provide the full range of appropriate treatments for sinus problems.

Superior Capabilities for Treating Sinus and other Ear, Nose and Throat Problems

The ENT/Sinus Surgery Center is staffed by experienced surgeons committed to providing a positive experience for patients throughout their entire continuum of care. Our highly trained nurses and support staff possess special expertise in the treatment of patients with significant sinus disease and other ear, nose and throat problems.

Our advanced technology includes the computer-guided VTI InstaTrack System, which enables the surgeon to correlate your anatomy with high-resolution CAT scan images. This provides the surgeon with a three-dimensional “road map” of the operation area. The system provides an exact localization of disease, which minimizes risk, and makes your surgery more precise and less invasive. Your incision will be smaller, you will experience less pain during recovery, and your symptoms will be better controlled over the long-term.
