Supporting those who support you.

Hospital Directory

When you arrive for your stay, your information will be listed in the hospital directory. This ensures that your visitors and well wishers can find your room number, call you at the hospital, and send you mail or gifts.

If you do not want to be listed in the directory, please let your care team know, and tell any visitors you may be expecting your room number since we will not give out the information if you aren't listed. You won't receive any gifts or mail unless someone brings them to you.

Your care team or the person who makes medical decisions for you (also known as your decision-maker) may ask to keep your hospital stay private if there are health or safety concerns.

Your Visitors

We welcome your loved ones as they support your care, and ask that any visitors you may have familiarize themselves with our full visitor policies and procedures. Here are the top level guidelines:

  • Visiting hours are from 9 am to 8 pm.
  • Children can visit some units if an adult (not the patient) watches them.
  • Visitors should stay home if they feel sick.
  • Visitors should familiarize themselves with our Patient and Visitor Code of Conduct.
