Pulmonary Hypertension Program

The program brings together a pulmonologist, a clinical pharmacist, a nurse practitioner, a clinical nurse specialist and a case manager to provide specialized care for adult patients. Working together, the team shapes and continually refines a plan of care suited to each person’s needs. In recent years, many new medical treatments have emerged to help patients better manage their symptoms.

When patients need to be admitted to Christiana Hospital, they get access to the state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization lab, noninvasive cardiac testing, cardiopulmonary stress testing and many other services. Our team works closely with the specially-trained staff on the hospital’s pulmonary stepdown unit to ensure continuity of care during each patient’s hospital stay.
