Community Health
We are dedicated to improving the health of community members.
Our multidisciplinary team allows us to provide services ranging from prevention education and train-the-trainer classes to advocacy and wellness programs.
Community Health is engaged in a variety of areas including women’s health, adolescent health, heart health, obesity, and many other public health priorities. These programs focus on health and wellness, teach consumers to identify health risks, and provide them with strategies to address those risks for themselves and their families.
Medical professionals enter health care to create health. But medical care only accounts for about 20% of a person's overall health outcomes. The other 80% are the result of many factors, most significantly Social Determinants/Drivers of Health. Learn more about what SDOH are and what can be done to address them, on the ChristianaCare podcast, For the Love of Health.
