Cancer Screening Programs
Getting tested—or screened—for various kinds of cancer is very important, because the best way to beat cancer is to detect it early. We offer a wide variety of cancer screenings for early detection of skin cancer, prostate cancer, breast cancer, cervical cancer and colorectal cancer. Through special awareness programs and by partnering with community agencies, businesses and faith-based organizations, we strive to bring cancer screenings to the places where people work, live and play.
For people who have not been screened for heart, diabetes and cancer risks, we provide a community-based combination screening program that tests for all three. It includes a blood test to measure cholesterol and blood-sugar levels, a blood-pressure reading and a questionnaire that helps to determine cancer risk. And it only takes a few minutes to find out the results. At the end of the screening, we offer guidance toward any needed next steps.
