    Manager, Community Health Outreach and Education

    Nora oversees ChristianaCare’s Community Health Outreach and Education program. Her community work includes the Wilmington Health Planning Council, the Early Detection and Prevention Committee for the Delaware Cancer Consortium and the American Cancer Society Leadership Council. She is a certified oncology nurse.

    Ada is a community health educator who specializes in community outreach for breast cancer and other cancer control activities.  She works closely with the Healthy Family Program.

    Torrie is a community health educator who specializes in community outreach for lung cancer and other cancer control activities. 

    Robyn specializes in helping people with lung cancer screenings and access to smoking cessation programs. She is a certified oncology nurse.

    Stefanie specializes in providing oversight to the cancer survivorship program for adults and young adults. She can provide a face to face meeting or phone conversation as a survivorship visit and a review of treatments summary. She can assist with community resources available.

    Fen travels to Chinese businesses and community centers throughout New Castle County to help those who speak Mandarin Chinese with everything related to health care, from insurance to state financial programs to screenings and appointments with primary care and specialty providers.

    Luisa is the program manager for the Healthy Latin Families and Promotoras programs.

    Holly specializes in helping people with access to cancer screening, especially colorectal cancer, and provides a review of risk factors to identify if at higher risk for colon cancer.  She can assist with community resources for all cancer screenings.

    Suzanne specializes in breast cancer outreach and education. Before joining ChristianaCare she provided community outreach and education to the local community and has served on many community coalitions. She assists with access to care for women for breast health screenings, financial support and community resources.

    Melissa is likely the first person you will speak with when you call the Community Health Outreach and Education office to schedule a program or learn more about available services. She will put you in touch with the right person on our team!

    We can help you through the maze of decisions about:

        • Where to go for screenings.
        • What forms you need to fill out.
        • How to get financial support through state-funded programs.
        • How to gain access to follow-up services, if needed.
        • Offering programs in Mandarin and Spanish!
