Douglas P. Azar, MHA, is senior vice president, Strategic Clinical Integration; executive director, eBrightHealth ACO and president, ChristianaCare Health Initiatives. He works closely with leadership across the health system on ambulatory and access to care strategies, new strategic business opportunities and provides administrative leadership and direction to ChristianaCare’s owned and partnered provider networks (the eBrightHealth ACO and clinically integrated network). Azar is ChristianaCare’s representative to the eBrightHealth Development Committee.

Azar joined ChristianaCare in 2012. He has over 20 years of health care leadership experience, including senior operations roles with WellSpan Health in York, Pa., and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

He received his Master of Health Administration from Duke University and undergraduate degree from Shippensburg University.
