In 1992, Eileen began working in the transplant field with renal patients at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia as a licensed social worker. Over the course of her career, she has followed hundreds of patients and their families through the continuum of care. It is her role to ensure that patients are prepared for the mental and emotional effects of the kidney transplant journey.
Eileen earned her master’s degree in social work from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She is actively involved with the Delaware Valley Transplant Social Workers group, the Society for Transplant Social Workers, Gift of Life Donor Program, and the National Kidney Foundation.
