Summer Volunteen Program

• Program Duration: This is a 9-week program that runs June 15 – August 14.
• Eligibility: Students must be age 14 by the start date of the program. They also must have completed the 9^th grade by the end of June and currently be enrolled in a high school academic program.
• Commitment: Students are required to complete at least 7 weeks of the 9-week program and complete (2) 4-hours shifts for a total of 8-hours per week. Thus, you are required to complete a total of at least 56 hours for the duration of the program. Shifts run Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00a – 4:00p. Shift times may vary depending on department needs.
• Attendance:  You are expected to be available for all your scheduled shifts. If you are not available at your designated time, you must notify your supervisor and schedule an agreed time to make up your hours.
• Timekeeping: You will be required to log all your volunteer hours via the volunteer administrative database.
• Compliance: You must comply with all medical requirements, evaluations, education, and other items as necessary.

Information regarding the 2027 program will be available on this website in February 2027.

The 2026 program will provide opportunities across multidisciplinary areas within the organization.
