Physical Therapy
Pelvic health therapy programs tailored to your specific health needs
Pelvic floor therapy is provided by a physical or occupational therapist (PT or OT) specifically trained in working with all the muscles that sit at the base of your pelvis. The pelvic floor muscles are responsible for supporting the pelvic organs, controlling the flow of urine or feces, sexual function, along with stabilizing the pelvic bones and spine. If these muscles are not working properly an individual can develop pelvic floor dysfunction often resulting in many of the common diagnoses below.
It is so important to choose a physical therapy program that specializes in rehabilitation services uniquely designed for you.
