Providing High-Quality Care Designed for YOU in Springfield, PA!
ChristianaCare is thrilled to open its third neighborhood hospital and health center in Pennsylvania — now serving the Springfield community! We are set to launch a cutting-edge emergency department and health care center in 2027, offering essential services to our community.
Our new neighborhood hospital at the ChristianaCare Springfield Campus, located at 351 North State Road, will be a 24/7 hub of health care excellence. It will feature an inpatient unit for overnight stays, observation and testing. Our expert clinical team will handle emergencies such as falls, injuries, heart attacks and strokes.
The second floor of the hospital will feature a health center that will offer a wide range of outpatient services tailored to the needs of our community, including primary and specialty care practices, diagnostics and a variety of other clinical services.
At a later date, a separate building may be added behind the neighborhood hospital that will offer additional outpatient services.
We look forward to partnering with you on your health journey and bringing much-needed emergency and health care services to Springfield.

As ChristianaCare reimagines health care, we recognize that new models of care, such as neighborhood hospitals, can help us deliver the right care at the right place and at the right time. We are creating a neighborhood hospital to supply critical emergency services when you need them most.
To make access to health care easy and convenient for our neighbors in southeastern Pennsylvania, we must meet them where they are–close to home. The neighborhood hospital model of care maintains our high standards for excellence, safety, service and affordability.
Our new 20,000-square-foot facility will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, providing you with convenient access to high-quality care. It will have a 10-bed inpatient unit for those who require overnight hospital stays, observation and testing.
The emergency department will treat common emergency care needs such as falls, injuries, heart attacks and strokes. Patients needing care for more acute problems or requiring surgery will be transferred to a larger hospital to receive a higher level of care.
In addition, the campus will also offer a health center offering an array of outpatient services tailored to community needs. These services are expected to include primary and specialty care practices, plus other clinical services.
