In addition, Medical Assistants must pay close attention to detail and have excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity. Yes, the Medical Assistant Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs, upon the recommendation of the Medial Assisting Education Review Board.

Current ChristianaCare caregivers in good standing with one year of service & a high school diploma or equivalent. Excludes Caregivers with previous accredited medical assistant education or certification.

Caregivers must commit to 40 hours a week (full time status). Monday-Friday 8am-430pm with 30-minute lunch breaks. The program is time intensive and students will not be successful with absences deemed excessive.
