Nursing Clinical at ChristianaCare

ChristianaCare is a large-scale teaching facility that provides clinical training for undergraduate and graduate level nursing students from Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and across the country!  Our facility offers students practical hands on experience in a variety of patient-care settings. Clinical rotations are available at each of our 3 hospital campuses and at many of our outpatient locations.

ChristianaCare offers nursing students a dynamic and supportive learning environment. In the spirit of our core values of Excellence and Love, it is an honor to help support more than 2,000 student placement opportunities each year.

Please note that ChristianaCare requires a current clinical affiliation agreement for all nursing students, including students who are ChristianaCare caregivers. At present, we have established partnerships with numerous colleges, universities and nursing programs and are not entering into any new agreements. Graduate level nursing students should verify with their school that an active agreement is on record prior to contacting ChristianaCare for clinical hours.  Student clinical applications can be submitted for review by creating a student account through our 3rd party application vendor Clinician Nexus.  Once an account is created, interested students may apply for clinical rotation under their program of choice application.
