Clinical Service Line Leader, Medical Subspecialties
Bradley Sandella, D.O., MBA, is the physician executive for the Medical Subspecialties service line. In this role, he provides administrative oversight for a wide range of medical subspecialities at ChristianaCare, including Endocrinology, Pulmonology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and numerous others. He focuses on both their strategic and operational success, ensuring that patients across the network receive the highest quality of care.
Dr. Sandella previously oversaw ChristianaCare’s Musculoskeletal service as service line leader and served as the former co-director of the Strong Bones Program. He is also the cofounder of the ChristianaCare Concussion Clinic. Dr. Sandella joined the ChristianaCare team in 2012 as a sports medicine and family medicine physician as Program Director for the ChristianaCare Sports Medicine Fellowship and has been recognized as a Top Doctor by Delaware Today.
Dr. Sandella earned his D.O. from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in family medicine at ChristianaCare, where he was named Resident of the Year and served as chief resident. He next completed a sports medicine fellowship at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. He has served as a team physician at the University of Delaware and as clinical assistant professor at Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. Most recently, Dr. Sandella earned his MBA from Auburn University, Harbert College of Business, in May 2023.
