Heather is a pre-transplant coordinator for the Kidney Transplant Program. She has worked at ChristianaCare since 1996, beginning her professional career on a surgical floor. She then spent the next 20 years in cardiac critical care and interventional areas. Heather was a part of the Kidney Transplant Program from 2019-2022, returning in 2023 after spending time in the inpatient setting. Heather has extensive experience in critical care, nursing leadership, education, performance improvement and regulatory compliance.

Heather received her degrees from the University of Florida (Bachelor of Science), the University of Delaware (Bachelor of Science in Nursing), Wilmington University (Master of Science in Nursing), as well as Certification in Healthcare Leadership from the University of Delaware. She has been recognized for her nursing and leadership excellence over the years. She is excited to return to the Kidney Transplant Program and working with patients to reach their transplantation goals.
