Krystle Gandhi, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, serves as chief nursing officer for Christiana Hospital’s Newark campus, where she provides strategic and operational leadership for all nursing services. In this role, she partners closely with diverse teams to elevate clinical quality, deliver an exceptional patient experience, and advance innovative care models that support ChristianaCare’s mission. Dr. Gandhi is deeply committed not only to outstanding patient care, but also to cultivating a supportive, empowering environment for caregivers.
Before joining ChristianaCare, Dr. Gandhi served as assistant chief nursing officer at JPS Health Network in Fort Worth, Texas, one of the nation’s busiest safety-net and trauma hospitals. She previously held progressive leadership roles in nursing operations and clinical informatics, where she strengthened patient outcomes, led systemwide performance improvement initiatives, and supported frontline caregivers during periods of significant organizational growth and change.
Dr. Gandhi earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Duke University, a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership from Texas A&M University, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas. She is a board-certified Nurse Executive and an Essential Hospitals Women’s Leadership Academy Fellow. Beyond her work within the hospital, Dr. Gandhi demonstrates her commitment to the community through volunteer service and mentorship, helping to develop and inspire the next generation of nursing leaders.
