Lanae Ampersand, LCSW, CPS is a licensed clinical social worker and a certified prevention specialist. She manages William Penn High School’s School-Based Health Center and is senior program manager for ChristianaCare’s 15 School-Based Health Centers. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Lanae has worked in the mental health field for more than two decades and has been with ChristianaCare for more than nine years, helping high school students, their families and the community through group, individual and family counseling, town hall meetings, media and community events. She also enjoys being an adjunct professor at Cecil College.
