Randy is the Senior Vice President, Chief Digital and Information Officer for Delaware-based ChristianaCare. He serves as board chair for the Delaware Health Information Network, and as Board Director and Treasurer for the non-profit Tech Impact. Randy served as an advisor to the venture capital firm, Safeguard Scientifics (NYSE), and Siemens Medical Solutions. Before ChristianaCare, Randy was SVP, CIO, and Strategic Development Officer for Teleflex (NYSE), a global provider of medical technologies designed to improve people’s health and quality of life.

Distinctions include Information Week’s “Twenty Great Ideas To Steal,” Computerworld’s “Premier 100 IT Leaders,” a four-time awardee of CIO Magazine’s “CIO 100,” and one of Becker’s Healthcare 20 Chief Digital Officers to Know. HealthTech Research Alliance & Council nominated Randy as “Healthcare Innovator of the Year.” CIO Magazine editor-in-chief, Maryfran Johnson, dubbed Randy an “exceedingly rare, triple threat CIO” – A CIO that is equally talented at “managing, problem-solving and driving revenue.” Randy is an inductee into the CIO Magazine Hall of Fame and has earned degrees from Temple, Dartmouth and Oxford.
