Cough & Cold Line

In anticipation of an increase in respiratory illness in our community -- flu, RSV and COVID-19 -- ChristianaCare has set up a new COUGH & COLD LINE to help you out! If you are 18 and older and don’t feel well, CALL 302-623-7400, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Through a series of prompts, the ChristianaCare COUGH & COLD LINE will provide helpful info on how best to manage your cold, flu and COVID-19 symptoms at home. We’ll also guide you on when you should seek care.

Through the ChristianaCare COUGH & COLD LINE, we can help connect you with a ChristianaCare virtual primary care provider.

If your need is more urgent, there are 16 ChristianaCare Go-Health Urgent Care Centers in DE and MD. Save your spot in line or set up a virtual visit.

If you need assistance, stop by the main information desk or ask a member of the care team on the patient unit.

Service Animals

Only trained service animals (dogs and miniature horses) that meet the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are allowed at ChristianaCare.

Animals that provide comfort, emotional support, or companionship are not allowed in the hospital.
Service animals must follow hospital rules and visiting hours.
Animals must wear ID that they’re a service animal.
You or your visitor must care for your service animal. Hospital staff cannot care for them.
Check with your nurse to make sure no one in your room has allergies, is afraid of animals, or has other health concerns.
Visitors with service animals should only enter the room of the person they are visiting.
