Center for Provider Wellbeing

The mission of the Center for Provider Wellbeing is to foster joy and meaning in work for providers and their teams. Founded in 2016, the Center focuses on the 4th aim of the Quadruple Aim – improving the clinician experience. To that end, we aim to mitigate sources of stress and burnout, and help clinicians develop personal and professional resilience.

Heather Farley, M.D., FACEP, Director of Provider Wellbeing, Christiana Care Institute for Learning, Leadership, and Development (iLEAD)

We Serve Together. Improving the experience of providing care at Christiana Care, supporting one another, and setting ourselves up to experience success, joy and meaning, are examples of our values and behaviors in action.

We hope you take a moment to browse the current resources offered by the Center for Provider Wellbeing on this site.  We welcome your ideas or concerns regarding personal wellbeing at work and in the broader context of our health system. Please, consider me a sounding board and a resource.
