Maintaining excellence and integrity in all aspects.

Our Compliance Program

ChristianaCare is dedicated to maintaining excellence and integrity in all aspects of its operations and professional business conduct. The goal of the Corporate Compliance Program is to maintain ChristianaCare’s adherence to federal, state, and other regulatory agencies’ laws, rules, and requirements. The strategic plan of the Corporate Compliance Program is to not only protect the integrity of ChristianaCare, but also its employees, healthcare providers and ultimately the population we care for and serve.

Our vision is to promote ChristianaCare’s services to the highest ethical standards and provide accountability to the community it serves.

We encourage individuals to openly communicate concerns and report potential violations of applicable laws, regulations, or our Code of Conduct without fear of retaliation.

The Office of Corporate Compliance & Ethics oversees the Compliance Program and ensures compliance with our Code of Conduct. The following are some ways in which the Compliance Program promotes adherence to federal, state, and other regulatory agencies’ laws, rules, and regulations:

  • Set integrity standards through written policies, procedures, and our Code of Conduct;
  • Communicate standards through education and training programs;
  • Provide processes for reporting potential violations of laws, rules, regulation, our policies, or our Code of Conduct;
  • Conduct auditing and monitoring activities;
  • Identify, investigate, and respond to potential compliance concerns;
  • Enforce integrity standards and apply fair, consistent, and reasonable disciplinary actions.

The Office of Corporate Compliance & Ethics is available to assist all ChristianaCare departments with adhering to the Code of Conduct, compliance policies, and other compliance-related concerns or inquiries.
