Volunteer at ChristianaCare

College Volunteer Program

College age students volunteer to make a difference in their community.

College Volunteer Program

The Volunteer Program at ChristianaCare offers a variety of ways for individuals to make a difference through community service as we strive to provide a valuable experience for everyone. Our volunteers are a vital resource, bringing valuable talent and perspective, and a shared sense of commitment that benefits our patients. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to enrich the lives of our patients and families. Volunteers acquire new and different skill sets and bring a vast wealth of knowledge and life experience. Some volunteers work directly with patients and families, while others prefer to work in a variety of interesting and challenging settings that do not involve direct patient care.

Application and Information

  • Eligibility: You must be currently enrolled in a post high school academic program to apply for the College Volunteer program.
  • Commitment: You must commit to at least (1) 4-hour shift per week and a minimum of 100 hours per school year. This is the minimum commitment.
