Identifying the Cause of Mixed Urinary Incontinence

Patients vary in which of the two conditions is more dominant. Sometimes one condition can mask or aggravate another. This increase in frequency, however, also can lead to urge incontinence.

The treatment options for mixed urinary incontinence are the same as those for stress incontinence and urge incontinence. Treatment is usually based on the results of bladder testing.
