Breast Milk is the perfect food for your baby as it contains antibodies to protect them from illness, is easily digested and changes alongside the growth of your baby. It is also a fantastic tool in the bonding process.

Our experienced nurses are ready to help you with any challenges you may have in breastfeeding and we also supply you with a breast milk pumping journal that can help you track the amount of milk you are making for your baby.
The journal includes: tips for building a supply of breast milk, comfort of flange fit while pumping, how to clean the pump as well as the kit parts and storage guidelines supported by ChristianaCare.
Lactation consultants from ChristianaCare can offer hands-on help with breastfeeding problems and are available for appointments at the Breastfeeding Education and Resource Center at Christiana Hospital.
