ChristianaCare offers three appointments each year.

Three Appointments

ChristianaCare offers three appointments each year to the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship. Qualified applicants will have successfully completed three years of postgraduate training in an accredited internal medicine residency program in the United States or Canada prior to starting fellowship. Graduates from medical schools outside the United States and Canada must be certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates to qualify for admission.

The Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship program selects eligible applicants on the basis of their preparedness, ability, aptitude, academic credentials, previous experience, communication skills, and personal qualities such as motivation and integrity. The program does not discriminate with regard to sex, race, age, religion, color, national origin, sexual orientation, disability, or veteran status.

Applications

Documentation to be submitted via ERAS:

    • CV
    • Letter from current or previous internal medicine program director
    • 3 additional letters of recommendation
    • Medical school transcript
    • Letter from medical school dean
    • Personal statement
    • Copies of USMLE and/or COMLEX board score reports
