Getting Started

If not currently licensed in the State, please apply now for a Delaware License and a Delaware Controlled Substance Registration. It can take up to 5 months to receive your medical license from the state.

Please complete the following:

1. Pre-Application - click here to access the application.
2. Send a non-refundable application fee payable to ChristianaCare.
   • $200 Physician or a  $100 Advanced Practice Provides (PA’s or NP’s)

If you are employed by ChristianaCare, Nemours or are a physician who has completed training at ChristianaCare within the past two years, the fee is waived.

After receipt of the above, you will receive an email communication from Verge Health to complete your full application. ChristianaCare has partnered with RL Datix/Verge Health to provide credentialing services. You will be required to set up an account with Verge Health to complete your full application.

You will be asked to interview with the indicated department. A member of our staff will coordinate the date and time of the interview with the respective department.

You are asked to complete the Orientation Modules including CPOE.  A member of the Physician Relations Department will contact you.
