Undergraduate Medical Education
Financial Information for the Visiting Clerkship Program.
Sponsored by Academic Affairs, The Office of Caregiver Belonging, and The Institute for Research on Equity and Community Health’s (iREACH) Harrington Trust.
This program is designed to support medical students with demonstrated financial need in accessing high-quality clinical training opportunities. It highlights ChristianaCare as an exceptional environment for physician training and provides a supportive and enriching experience for visiting students.
The Visiting Student Program offers financial and mentorship support to fourth-year medical students who may face financial barriers to completing away rotations. These two- or four-week clinical experiences allow students to gain exposure to ChristianaCare, connect with faculty and residents, and explore their chosen specialty in depth.
To apply for a rotation at ChristianaCare, please apply through the AAMC Visiting Student Learning Opportunities (VSLO) portal.
A supplemental application for the financial assistance program can be completed here.
