As a medical student at ChristianaCare, you are part of a top-ranked health care team at one of the largest community-based teaching hospitals conducting research in the United States.
ChristianaCare hosts over 750 medical student rotation opportunities, and over 200 Physician Assistant clinical rotation opportunities each year for students all over the country.
Over the last eight years we have successfully graduated over 100 students from our Delaware Branch Campus program, where students from Sidney Kimmel Medical College (SKMC) and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) are able to complete all their 3rd year core rotations, and some 4th year rotations and/or subspecialty internships within our Delaware hospital campuses.
Each year, students rotating at ChristianaCare match into one of our 35 residency and fellowship programs and many of our graduating residents/fellows choose to stay and practice in Delaware. Students will learn from a wide range of pathologies and work with nationally recognized faculty, accelerating your growth as an expert, caring clinician.
ChristianaCare offers a strong culture of teaching and opportunity to build community.
