Before Your Visit

Please review your options to join your video visit BEFORE your visit. This will help make sure you can log in with no issues on the day of your appointment. Please review the ChristianaCare Conditions for Treatment consent prior to joining your visit.  

Mobile Smartphone

If you have a mobile phone number on file and are receiving appointment confirmations and reminders from ChristianaCare, you should receive a link  15 minutes prior to your visit.

  • Simply click the link to join.
  • We do encourage you to also make sure you can log in to your portal account in case the link is not received.

Patient Portal (Smartphone or Computer)

All patients may join their video visit through the ChristianaCare patient portal.

  • Please make sure you can log in to your portal account before your visit and review the videos below for step-by-step instructions.

The Day of Your Visit

Give yourself plenty of time. We recommend joining the waiting room 15 minutes before your appointment time. Follow these simple steps to join:

  1. Open the Portal app (phone or tablet) or web link (computer).
  2. Enter your password.
  3. Click “Log In”.
  4. Scroll down to locate your Appointment.
  5. Click the “Join Now” video icon.
  6. You will need to Accept and Agree to all prompts (terms, camera, microphone, etc.) in order to have your video visit with your provider.
  7. Wait for your provider to join.

To get the most out of your visit, be sure to ask questions if you have them and repeat any instructions back to your provider to make sure they were clear.
