Before Your Visit

Please do these steps sometime between now and the day BEFORE your visit. This will help make sure you can log in with no issues on the day of your appointment.

New Feature

You will begin to receive a text message to your mobile phone 15 minutes prior to your appointment with a direct link to the video visit as we roll out this new technology.

Please make sure you are able to log in to your portal to join your video visit by following the instructions below.

Decide which device you would like to use for your video visit (cell phone, tablet, or computer). We recommend using a smartphone for the best experience.
Make sure the device can connect to the internet and has a camera, microphone, and speaker.
Get ready to connect to ChristianaCare online:
- If using a smartphone or tablet, download the ChristianaCare Portal App on your device:
- If using a home computer (laptop or desktop): Please download either the Chrome or Firefox web browser, if you do not already have either of these installed.

A Patient Portal account is required to have a video visit. Please check and make sure you can log-in prior to the visit. You can also sign up for a Patient Portal account if you do not have one yet.

Using the ChristianaCare patient portal App? Open the app (phone or tablet), and log-in or sign up to get started.
Using your home computer (laptop or desktop)? Click here, then log-in or sign up to get started.

The Day of Your Visit

Give yourself plenty of time. We recommend joining the waiting room 15 minutes before your appointment time. Follow these simple steps to join:

Open the Portal app (phone or tablet) or web link (computer).
Enter your password.
Click “Log In”.
Scroll down to locate your Appointment.
Click the “Join Now” video icon.
You will need to Accept and Agree to all prompts (terms, camera, microphone, etc.) in order to have your video visit with your provider.
Wait for your provider to join.
