Dr. Burke serves as the Medical Director Kidney Transplant Program. His interests reside in increasing local access to transplant, community outreach and performance improvement in kidney transplantation. He is particularly passionate about helping patients to share their story in the hopes of finding a living donor.
He earned his medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and an MBA at the University of Delaware. He completed his residency in internal medicine at ChristianaCare, and nephrology and transplant nephrology fellowships at Thomas Jefferson University Health System. Prior to his current role, he worked as an academic hospitalist with ChristianaCare Hospitalist Partners and as a clinical instructor in the Division of Nephrology at Thomas Jefferson University Health System.
