Highest Capability
Christiana Hospital is designated by the state of Delaware and verified by the American College of Surgeons as the state’s only Level I trauma center for both adults and children. This is the highest capability possible for a trauma center.
Wilmington Hospital is a participating trauma hospital in the Delaware Trauma System.
