This flu (influenza virus) season, protect yourself and your family by getting your flu shot as soon as possible. Getting a flu shot is more important than ever, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Although the flu shot will not prevent the spread of COVID-19, it can help keep you and those around you healthy.
Why should I get my flu shot?
Get your flu shot to keep yourself and those around you safe. The flu can spread easily. It is most likely to spread in the fall and winter seasons.
A flu shot is especially important for people who are at high risk for getting health problems from the flu. This includes: babies over age 6 months, people 65 and older, pregnant women and people with other chronic health conditions.
