Language Services at ChristianaCare is committed to ensuring safe, high quality care for our culturally diverse population.
We offer a full spectrum of language services including medical interpreting done by qualified professionals for individuals with limited English proficiency (LEP) or who are deaf.
Common errors resulting from the use of family, friends and untrained staff with inadequate linguistic competency include diagnostic errors, delay in care, violations of privacy laws and conflict of interest.
