The Healthy Latin Families Program is a free program for New Castle County residents who are interested in making their family and home healthier.

    Portrait Of Multi Generation Family

    The program is especially designed to help people without insurance, individuals who need screenings and preventive care, those with chronic diseases such as high blood pressure, asthma, diabetes or cancer, and children with asthma.

      As part of the program, a trained Spanish-speaking Promotora (health promotor) will help you:

      • Find ways to make you and your family healthier.
      • Learn how to prevent health problems.
      • Make appointments for health problems or check-ups.
      • Connect you and your family to services for diabetes, asthma, mammograms, cancer screenings, HIV testing, dental and other health care.
