Medical Physics Residency Program

Information on Our Two-Year Training Program

The Medical Physics Residency Program is housed in the Division of Medical Physics at the primary site at Thomas Jefferson Hospital, with Christiana Health System as an affiliated program (Spoke/Hub). The Medical Physics Residency Training Program in Radiation Oncology Physics at ChristianaCare/Thomas Jefferson University has been accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Program (CAMPEP) since 2013. We graduate one resident each year.

Radiation Oncology launches first allied health residency in medical physics

The medical physics residency is a two-year training program (PGY 1-2). Residents will be expected to have completed a comprehensive curriculum in Medical Physics with a strong foundation in basic physics and a degree in physics or related engineering or physical science with coursework equivalent to a minor in physics.
