The Medical Physics Residency Program is housed in the Division of Medical Physics at the primary site at Thomas Jefferson Hospital, with Christiana Health System as an affiliated program (Spoke/Hub). The Medical Physics Residency Training Program in Radiation Oncology Physics at ChristianaCare/Thomas Jefferson University has been accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Program (CAMPEP) since 2013. We graduate one resident each year.
The medical physics residency is a two-year training program (PGY 1-2). Residents will be expected to have completed a comprehensive curriculum in Medical Physics with a strong foundation in basic physics and a degree in physics or related engineering or physical science with coursework equivalent to a minor in physics.
