The IHI Open School for Health Professions is an interprofessional educational community that gives learners the skills to become change agents in health care improvement. The IHI Open School currently offers a range of online courses in the areas of quality improvement, patient safety, patient- and family-centered care, managing health care operations, and leadership. The Basic Certificate in Quality and Safety, comprising 13 courses, provides a well-rounded introduction to quality, safety, population health, equity, health care leadership, and person- and family-centered care.
