Fellowships

On Site Training

Training at both Christiana and Wilmington hospitals.

Ample Opportunity

The major blocks of training for the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship will take place at both Christiana and Wilmington hospitals, located just 15 minutes apart. A high-volume cardiology service with 54 cardiologists on staff will offer ample opportunity for diverse and challenging inpatient, outpatient and continuity experiences. In addition, one rotation (SSF-2 year) in congenital heart disease will take place at the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children, a tertiary care pediatrics hospital located 20 minutes from ChristianaCare, in Wilmington, DE. It is a major pediatric teaching hospital for the combined Jefferson Medical College/Alfred I. duPont /ChristianaCare pediatric residency training program.
